Outreach Programs

The University of Cagayan Valley (UCV) believes that education should create a positive impact beyond the classroom. Through its outreach programs, UCV works with local communities, government agencies, schools, and partner organizations to address real community needs and promote sustainable development.

These programs allow students, faculty, and staff to share their knowledge and skills through environmental initiatives, health campaigns, livelihood projects, civic education activities, and volunteer services. Through community engagement, UCV helps build stronger communities while providing meaningful learning experiences for students.

Environmental Programs

Go Green Project: Bamboo Grove Development II

The Go Green Project promotes environmental conservation through tree and bamboo planting activities. Conducted along the Pinacanuan River in Tuguegarao City, the program supports local greening efforts and raises awareness about environmental protection and climate change.

Uru Ta Laguerta (Herbal Planting Program)

Uru Ta Laguerta is a community gardening project that encourages the cultivation of herbal plants and vegetables. The program helps residents learn practical gardening skills while promoting affordable and sustainable sources of food and traditional herbal remedies.

Students and community members work together to establish and maintain communal gardens while learning environmentally responsible farming practices.
