The University of Cagayan Valley (UCV), through its Research, Planning and Development, and Extension (RPDE) Office, continues to strengthen its global presence through UCV international conferences and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) programs. These initiatives reflect the university’s commitment to higher education internationalization, research innovation, and global academic collaboration in the Philippines and beyond.

Conference 1: Uniting Classrooms Virtually (UCV) through Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Program

Overview

The Uniting Classrooms Virtually (UCV) through Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Program is an international academic initiative designed to connect classrooms across countries through structured virtual collaboration and shared learning experiences.

This UCV COIL program strengthens international academic collaboration in the Philippines and highlights UCV’s leadership in advancing digital internationalization in higher education.

Conference 2: The Essence of Experience:
A Master Class in Colaizzi’s Phenomenological Method

Overview

This international master class focused on strengthening qualitative research capacity, particularly in the application of Colaizzi’s Phenomenological Method. The program supports faculty development and enhances higher education internationalization and research culture at UCV.
