Admissions
What are the admission requirements for Incoming Grade 11 and Transferee Students?
To apply as an Incoming Grade 11 student or transferee, submit the following documents:
- Form 9 (High School Report Card)
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- PSA Birth Certificate (Photocopy)

- Four (4) copies of a 2×2 colored ID picture
- Certificate of Completion (Photocopy)
- ESC Certificate (for ESC grantees from private schools, if applicable)
What are the admission requirements for Incoming First-Year College and Transferee Students?
To apply as an Incoming Grade 11 student or transferee, submit the following documents:
Incoming first-year college students must submit:
- Form 9 (High School Report Card)
- Certificate of Good Moral Character
- PSA Birth Certificate (Certified True Copy)
- Four (4) copies of a 2×2 colored ID picture

Transferee students must also submit:
- Barangay Clearance
- Certified True Copy of Grades
- Honorable Dismissal
Tuition Fees and Payments
How much are the tuition fees for UCV programs?
Tuition fees vary by program. The amounts below cover tuition fees only and do not include miscellaneous fees, laboratory fees, or other school charges.

Is there a tuition fee discount?
Yes. UCV offers a 10% tuition fee discount to students who pay their tuition fees in full on or before the official enrollment deadline.
This discount applies only to full payments made during the enrollment period.
Can I enroll with a down payment?
Yes. You may secure your enrollment by paying a minimum down payment of ₱2,500.
The remaining balance may be paid according to the University’s approved payment schedule.
For payment details, contact the Cashier’s Office.
Can excess tuition payments be refunded?
No. If you pay more than your required balance, the excess amount will be credited to your account and applied to future tuition fees or school charges.
For graduating students, any remaining credit balance may be applied to graduation-related expenses and clearance requirements.
Can scholars avail of the 10% tuition fee discount?
No. The 10% full-payment discount is only available to students who are not receiving scholarships, educational assistance, or other tuition benefits.
Scholarship grants and tuition discounts cannot be combined.
Can UCV offer a tuition discount higher than 10%?
No. The 10% discount is the maximum rate approved by the University and applies equally to all eligible students.

Do all programs have the same tuition fee increase?
No. Fee adjustments vary by program. Courses with laboratory classes, practicum requirements, or specialized equipment may have different fees.

Before You Submit Your Payment
- Use University of Cagayan Valley as the account name.
- Take a screenshot of your completed transaction.
- Upload the screenshot to your UCV Portal account.
- Allow 3–5 working days for payment verification.
Can I still take my final examination if I have not fully paid my tuition fee?
Yes. You may still take your final examination by securing a Permit to Take the Final Examination through an approved Promissory Note.
Please process your Promissory Note before your examination schedule.

Which office handles scholarship applications?
Submit scholarship requirements and inquiries to the:

Make sure all requirements are complete before submission to avoid delays.
Can Tulong Dunong grants be used to pay outstanding balances?
Yes. Once released, Tulong Dunong financial assistance is automatically credited to your student account and applied to any outstanding balance.
