UCV Library & Learning Resources
The University of Cagayan Valley (UCV) Libraries support your learning, research, and academic needs. You can visit the libraries in two campuses: the Victor V. Perez (VVP) Campus in Balzain, Tuguegarao City, and the Annex Campus in College Avenue, Tuguegarao City.
Each library provides study spaces, printed books, and digital learning resources. These services support all UCV programs and year levels.
UCV Library & Learning Resources
UCV operates several unit libraries to support different students and academic programs.
University Library (Main Library)
- Located on the 2nd to 4th floors of the Linda P. Del Rosario Building, VVP Campus
- Serves undergraduate and graduate students
- Supports research, assignments, and general academic needs using the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)
Graduate School Library
- Located on the 4th floor of the Linda P. Del Rosario Building, VVP Campus
- Supports graduate students
- Provides resources for thesis writing and advanced research
Law Library
- Located on the 2nd floor of the Linda P. Del Rosario Building, VVP Campus
- Serves College of Law students
- Provides law books, case references, and legal research materials
College of Health Library
- Located on the 3rd floor of the Don Matias Ponce Perez Sr. Building, College Avenue Campus
- Serves Nursing and Midwifery students
- Also open to other students needing health-related research materials and UCV digital library resources
High School and Elementary Libraries
- Located on the 2nd floor of the Lagrimas V. Abalos Building
- Supports elementary pupils and high school students
- Provides age-appropriate books and learning materials for UCV learning resources
Archives
- Located on the 2nd floor of the Linda P. Del Rosario Building, VVP Campus
- Stores permanent university records
- Includes historical and legal documents for research and reference
Internet Library
- Available at the Main Library and selected unit libraries (except Archives)
- Provides access to computers and online academic resources
- Supports research using e-books, EBSCO databases, and other digital tools
Requirements to Use Library Services
To access library services, you need to present:
- A Library ID card with barcode issued by the library
If you do not yet have a Library ID, you may temporarily use:
- Your Student ID
- Your Employee ID

Both libraries are open to students, faculty, and authorized members of the UCV community.

Regular Semester
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (no noon break)
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no noon break)
- Sunday and official holidays: Closed
Semestral and Summer Break
- Monday to Friday:
- 7:30 AM – 12:00 NN
- 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
