Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is UCV's primary digital platform for online communication, collaboration, and virtual learning. It allows faculty members to conduct classes, share learning materials, communicate with students, and manage coursework from one location.
The platform supports both fully online and blended learning environments.

Microsoft Teams includes tools that help faculty organize and manage their classes.
You can use Microsoft Teams to:
Conduct live online classes and meetings
Review and grade student submissions
Communicate with students through chat and messaging
Organize classes using dedicated channels
Share lecture notes, presentations, and learning materials
Record lectures for later viewing
Create and manage assignments
Collaborate using Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Microsoft Teams helps faculty create interactive and flexible learning experiences.

Who Can Use Microsoft Teams?
Microsoft Teams is available to members of the UCV community who have been provided with a university Microsoft 365 account.
Eligible users may include:
- Full-time faculty
- Part-time faculty
- Administrative staff
- Students
- Research advisers
- Internship coordinators
- Approved guest lecturers and external partners, when applicable
Access depends on university guidelines and course requirements.
How to Access Microsoft Teams
To begin using Microsoft Teams:
Obtain your official UCV email account from the Educational Management Information System and Systems Development (EMISSD).
Sign in to Microsoft Teams using your university email address and password.
Access your assigned classes or create a new class if authorized.

CVIEERDEC Grant Program
CVIEERDEC is a research and development program at the University of Cagayan Valley (UCV) that supports work in criminal justice education, training, and applied research. It provides a structured environment where faculty and students can develop research skills and apply classroom learning to real-world forensic work.
Through access to a specialized forensic laboratory, the program strengthens hands-on training in areas such as digital forensic methods and behavioral analysis. It also supports the development of high-quality research outputs that contribute to academic growth and institutional development.
